Many of you were inspired by the words of Mark Goldman (or Don MacLean!) and decided to face your fears and brave the comments of our judges; Sharon Osbourne and Richard Tyler. The judges were amazed at the talent that came through the door. There were so many good singers that we had to organise another round to whittle down the numbers! After two successful rounds and hours of deliberation we have finally got our cast and are very excited to start rehearsals and begin performing! All three hospital sites, Heartlands, Good Hope and Solihull are involved in the project and it promises to be a great show stopping performance.Let us not forget it is all for a good cause!
East Side Story is the finale of our £300,000 Breath of Life appeal which aims to raise money to support our Neonatal units for premature and sick babies across the three hospital sites. There will be a number of fundraising activities occurring throughout the year with all East Side Story cast members being sponsored for the big event. We hope lots of people will get behind us and support us in this very worthwhile campaign.
